Could that have something to do with corrupted stuff on the disk?
My old disk started showing symptoms of dying, so I got a new disk and ddrescued the old disk into the new one raw.
(using the newest TRK 3.4 beta - older didn't work with my HW)
If, then how do I fix it?
Also, if I select English as the language, how do I select Finland as the country?
I'm a Finn alright, but I rather use English with computers due to much more settled terminology.
[edit - ignore the following line. I left it there so that the next comments make sense.]
(Also, how do I control the disk power? There doesn't seem to be hdparm available.)
