STEAM

Why is STEAM in the downloads of software if an error comes up that says "unsatisfied libmesaglu1" so it won't even do it.

It says "this is a package supported by Mageia...." OH WELL

Sometimes WINBLOWS is better.

Too bad

Hi there,
do you actually want an answer or do you just want to troll and complain ?

Thanks. So I might as well put on Mageia 8 in another partition? I have tried before to download libraries from the rpm database. The only game I though of playing in the STEAM things was Pod Racer. Nothing else appeals. I am OLD SCHOOL.

This is not the sort of thing one should have to do when it says, "This is an officially supported package by Mageia."

LINUX is growing fast in the world though hardly anyone I see on YT even knows of Mageia. I started with this bunch around MANDRAKE 5. Turned my daily driver two years ago to 8 and now 9 and I hope soon to 10.

What, where's the relation?

Again, what? You need to properly configure repositories on any distribution. morgano linked you the documentation for that.
If you don't do that you cannot install 32bit software and dependency errors are expected, simple as that.
