i have maked now 56 upgrade and now appaer 974 to be upgraded to gnome3 i have installed mageia RC 1

Of course, you are jumping from a not even Mageia 1 to cauldron of Mageia 2. What do you expect?
It takes patience, sometimes re-starting the urpmi command, and it may also fail. If you want to run cauldron, install it from the boot.iso or at least install Mageia 1, do all updates and AFTER that switch mirror to cauldron.

Yes, so then you should start learning. Read about mirror structures, the way urpmi works, possible problems with updating and how to workaround, etc. Your way of trial and error only works if you take each error and learn why it was an error.

Yes, cauldron is a "rolling release" in a certain way but not a real rolling, it is a developper area, always subject to possible crashes.
