Mageia is up to #33 on Distrowatch. I know it doesn't mean a lot but it is nice to see it climb.

dont want to put a damper on it, but Mageia rises and falls on the DW list all the time.

Yes, good to see it rise, but this usually occurs around a release. As there is usually no Mageia news on DW between releases, popularity will fall until the next release cycle as Mageia falls out of peoples notice. DW just measures clicks on the DW site for each distro listed, and each visitor can only register one click on one Distro link per day.

A more telling, if slower, *meter* is the # of forum registrations. Those that have downloaded and like Mageia are likely to become members for assistance.
