[SOLVED]dvdrip (dvd::rip) finding optical drives

Postby Germ » Apr 9th, '22, 19:59

I have not used dvdrip in years. Like 10 years or more.

Anyone here have recent experience? How is it with detecting USB DVD Drives? I seem to remember problems back in the day with USB drives.

Thanks.

Mageia ships the latest version from this (dead) project, 0.98.11.
It was released Mar 6 2010. If it didn't work 10 years ago...

Why don't you connect your USB DVD drive and test it?
