[SOLVED] Cauldron aria2 bug

Hi,
This evening I tried to update to Cauldron. I followed the wiki page http://mageia.org/wiki/doku.php?id=cauldron, removed all media, added the Cauldron ones and ran an urpmi --auto-select. For the firs round, a lot of perl packages, webkit, rpm and aria got updated. But after that,I can't install or update anything, because I get the following error, thrown by aria2:

...retrieving failed: aria2 failed: exited with 1


It is obvious that aria2 is broken, but can somebody help me fix it? Or there is a workaround to tell urpmi to use something else than aria?

I get that when I try to update my computer after 2 weeks of vacation...

Mageia Control Center >> Software Management >> Configure media sources for install and update >> Options >> Global Options >> Download program to use:
In my installation, aria2, curl & wget are the available choices. I use curl, which is the default (if I'm corrrect).

Unfortunately MCC broked too, because of some gtk version mismatch. I'm sorry, I'm at work right now, and I will arrive home very late, so I can't give exact details today.
But the important thing is that I fixed my system this morning, John66's post gave me an idea to reread the urpmi help, and I discovered that there is a command line switch to specify the download agent to use. I think it is "-download", but not 100%, as I mentioned, I'm at work, running Windows 7.
The problem is solved, thank you guys for the help.

I have the same error.
So far, gonna use for a few months of Cauldoron, but the fsck - broke system files and do musiałlem disk format.

Mageia installed and then I added a mirror of the wiki opicjalnego the cauldron.
Unfortunately the update stops after aria2.

I do not know how to fix it. Previously, I had no such problem. Here I see that somehow the friend advised above. Well, unfortunately I do not see a solution. For the MCC can not enter.

Hi xpris!

Can you try to open a terminal (like Konsole), and to run these commands:

su -
# Then you have to write your password, it will not be displayed.
urpmi --downloader wget --auto-update --keep
