Three button mouse emulation

Postby jj83 » Sep 10th, '11, 19:19

I have a netbook with a touchpad and two buttons (left and right). I can't seem to find a way to get Mageia 1 to emulate a middle mouse button click when pressing the left and right mouse buttons simultaneously. Has anyone else experienced this?

Here it works out-of-the-box. (At least it does paste what I have in my clipboard, like a middle click from my USB mouse does).

Edit: It is a feature of KDE, but maybe you're using GNOME? I don't know if GNOME has such a feature.

I use Gnome 2.32.1 and it has never been a problem before when I used older versions of Gnome with Mandriva.
I recently migrated to Mageia from Mandriva. I installed Mageia fresh.
In the past, the middle button (or the left and right together) would cause firefox to open a link in a new tab, and the cursor to paste whatever was highlighted.
