encfs failures in mga7

For some time, I've been toying with encryption on my machines. Not with any particular need, but it's the security mad age we live in. To this end, on my main machine, still happily running on Mga5, I setup cryptkeeper and Gnome ncfs manager. They seem pretty well identical and work well and simply. I'm building a laptop with Mga7 to evaluate whether an update would be to my advantage. However, neither of these seem to function on Mga 7. Cryptkeeper fails with a message "Failed to load module 'canberra-gtk-module'" the Gnomr ncfs manager on the other hand failed with a whole shed load of 'failed to load, failed to open, failed to launch, cannot open, no such file or directory errors. Both installed without demur. Both should have loaded an applet in the action bar, where encrypted files could be unencrypted and mounted on the open system. Any ideas anyone? I've not yet set up the Mageia forum on the new system, so this is on the old, and functioning system

The problem might not be as bad as it appears. Cryptkeeper I opened on the command line, since a search did not reveal an icon to launch, and is unchanged. Gnome encfs manager, however has an icon, with a long command line. Taking out the actual command /usr/bin/gnome-encfs-manager, and running that on the command line in a terminal window, works just as it should. At least on a first look. At the mo, I've not created anything to encrypt, or created a destination for the files. Amending the command line in the standard icon works ok. With the proviso that I've not actually set it up!

Did you make any progress with this issue?

I am getting
Failed to load module "canberra-gtk-module"
when I run gcolor2 - no apparent relation to encfs - quite popular in bugzilla, old and new posts, but still (or again?) present in Mageia 7

failed to load module "canberra-gtk-module" is only an informational message and not the cause of a program not running.
Usually one of the next lines of output is your actual issue. But as your issue is about gcolor2, better put that in a separate thread, thanks in advance.
