checked system monitor & closed all the phantom clementine instances
the phantoms were created by closing the full instance, which only reduces it to the tray, depending on how clementine is set up

Clementine doesn't completely close from GUI

Postby Garthhh » Jan 26th, '18, 05:49

A continuation of the thread I marked solved
when I open Clementine with the GUI & close the same way an instance of Clementine is visible when I look at KsysGuard
if I restart Clementine will open by itself
if during the last session I opened & closed clementine 3 times, at restart clementine will open 3 instances
if I end process all the instances of Clementine with KsysGuard & restart normal operation
if I start & close Clementine from a terminal normal operation
on Clementine itself
Tools>Preferences>Behavior>"keep running in background when the window closed" is unchecked

And you're running Mageia 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7?
