copy-paste

Postby ovince » Jul 21st, '16, 09:08

Hi,

I have Mageia 5 installed. Copy-Paste with CTRL-C and CTRL-V doesn't work if the source is closed before the paste. Can I change this behaviour somehow?

Thanks

Please be a little more verbose. What desktop environment do you use, and from what application do you copy to which application? Do you use a clipboard manager, if so, which ?

ok. I will try.

I use KDE 4.14.

When I copy some text by CTRL-C (from kwrite, browser and generally it does not matter from where ) and try to paste by CTRL-V (to kwrite, browser and so on) it does not work if the source is closed before.

I am not sure what is "clipboard manager" and for what it is used but will inform myself about it to see how it can help me
