[Solved] Where are the 6sta1 isos?

Postby morgano » Jun 29th, '16, 12:24

I plan to next week attempt fresh install on a laptop.
I have seen sta1 referenced in bugs and forum, but fail to locate for download
and maybe it is time for sta2 soon, where will that land when ready?
Download page still serve *dev*1

Hi,
Mageia-6-sta1 isn't released for public yet. So far it is tested by iso testers only, if interested, see here how to become one of them:

No but that's not mean you can't download those iso files.

EDIT: Link removed. Please don't share the link for already mentioned reasons. Anyone interested should join as ISO tester on the wiki page to help.

Ah, thank you for the infos :)

PS
I note from the wiki we should be careful sharing download info, in order not to cause load on that servers limited bandwidth.

Already got it

Works well from the limited testing I've done

No frglx driver in the repos though

No idea who/where to ask for the kernel to be compiled with the flag

Code: Select all
CONFIG_DRM_AMDGPU_CIK=Y

I could use the amdgpu driver then ;)

You could either ask in IRC if tmb (Thomas Backlund) is online, most probably in #mageia-dev or on the dev mailing list, or as usual in a bugreport.
