conflicting items prevents update

Postby Kadmus » Dec 7th, '15, 05:06

Hey,

I had to do a reinstall of Mageai 5. I did an update of most of the items listed, but there were some that would not update/upgarded. Here is the message I got:

"There was a problem during the installation:

mariadb-common-core(x86-64) < 10.0.22-1.mga5 conflicts with mariadb-extra-10.0.22-1.mga5.x86_64

mariadb-common-core(x86-64) < 10.0.22-1.mga5 conflicts with mariadb-feedback-10.0.22-1.mga5.x86_64"

I tried unselecting these two: "mariadb-extra-10.0.22-1.mga5.x86_64 and mariadb-feedback-10.0.22-1.mga5.x86_64" Then I pressed the Install button, however it did not work. How do I resolve this dilemma?

Do you know how to update your urpmi sources?

From the command line as root:
urpmi.update -a -v
The dude abides.

@Kadmus:
Please show the output as root of
Code: Select all
rpm -qa|grep mariadb
urpmq --list-media active --list-url
LC_ALL=C urpmi --auto-update --auto --test
