Hey,

I would like to install the latest Opera (opera-stable_31.0.1889.174_amd64.deb) on my Mageia.How would I go about making this installation work, what would I need to do?

Hello,
You may be able to use alien to convert it an .rpm file. It may or may not work.

And alien works fine to convert it.

I would mark this 'solved', if I understood what was meant by prefix the first post? Would it have anything to do with the Subject bar?

You can do so, by editing the subject/title in the first message in this topic.
Write [SOLVED] to the left of subject/title, thanks ahead. ;)
