Hi all. After catching a failing desktop HDD die the other week I've been checking my other drives. Got to my Dell XPS13 SSD and have >3000 errors.

Code: Select all
Complete error log:

SMART Error Log Version: 1

I don't understand at all. I'm wondering if it's due to being a SSD, as I only done a regular Mageia 4 install at the time, I did nothing to suit it for being SSD.

All advice most appreciated.

Looks nasty. I guess you already have a good backup ;).
Are there any firmware updates available? I doesn't look like firmware error but you never know.
Do you have any option to test with the "official" test tool from manufacturer? Sometimes this can be useful.

Have you searched for similar experience?
