[SOLVED]VLC / GUI

when i double click on a file, it plays it, but i don't have access to the interface anymore : pic.
same pb with vlc opened with the command line, which gives me those messages(?) : pic

i've tried re-installing VLC, and trashing .kde4 yet.

If you start VLC, do you see a configuration in Tools > Preferences > Interface? I have the following and the gui controls when I click on an associated file:

it's not a pb of that kind, not aa simple settings one : VLC was perfectly running since the install of mag5
then , all of a sudden, may be after a reset of the comp, the GUI is all mixed up
this is a pic of it, while running, as you can see...

Best move away the settings of vlc, as normal user run the following in a terminal

mv ~/.config/vlc ~/.config/vlc-old

Then run vlc from that terminal and describe the outcome here and post the output.

and now it werks, ofc.
(i had seen that none of the .kde4 files were concerning vlc, however had deleted it already, but ~/.config/vlc was in fact what was to find )

Question about what? Is there any error or actuall error dialog shown by vlc? Otherwise this is irrelevant.
Not every output always means an error, often they are just for information.
