[SOLVED] Could not login anymore after updating Cauldron

With the updates of this morning to Mageia 5 beta 3, I could no longer login as normal user and not as root.
The updates suggested to replace two configuration files and without checking what they are used for, I accepted to take the rpmnew's.
But /etc/shadow was one of these 2 files and apparantly they influence loging on...
Luckily the previous file was still there as 'shadow-'
My cauldron is on an external USB harddisk, so I could login again in Mageia 4, mount the harddisk and do:

cd /run/media/bert/root/etc
cp shadow shadow.rpmnew
cp shadow- shadow
