A question about pychess

Not really about Mageia 4, but I can't find any help re: pychess.

It installs fine, but when I start it I get all these arrows trying to tell me how to play. Is there a way to turn this off? It is very annoying, If not is there another chess program?

Would be nice if you provide feedback how you figured it out to help others who might have the same question.
