not writing titles with DeVeDe

Yesterday, I tried creating a DVD with DeVeDe v3.22. There's an option to write a menu file on the DVD (it gets included in the ISO file DeVeDe creates.) Except it doesn't

DeVeDe help file says that some versions of FFMPEG can't write titles, which seems odd to me. Mencoder didn't like to write titles, either.

What seems odd is that I have used these same programs before and they've worked. But I've also seen this behavior before.
Is this something to with the way FFMPEG is compiled?

BTW, I am using ffmpeg 2.0.3. I know there is a newer version of ffmpeg. Maybe for Mageia 5.....

Hi Lloyd.

looks like no-one else has / had a problem similar to you or they are very busy working on Mageia 5.
You could try 2Mandvd, available from the repos.
It uses most of the same packages as devede, so you could try and compare.

DVDStyler is another option and was the only one I managed to get to work when I recently needed to use a DVD authouring program.

upgrading to DeVeDe 3.23 fixed the problem for me. There was something about a fix on the DeVeDe website (www.rastersoft.com)
