Installation failure with md/raid

Postby NickC » Sep 25th, '14, 14:32

Looks like issue might be because I am mirroring both /boot and / root.
Two disks sda & sdb

Code: Select all
kernel: md: bind <sda2>
kernel: md/raid1:md1 active with 2 out of 2 mirrors
kernel: md1: detected capacity change from 0 to 10724573184
kernel: md1: unknown partition table
systemd[1]: Job dev-md0.device/start timed out
systemd[1]: Timed out waiting for device dev-md0.device.
Subject: Unit dev-md0.device has failed

Any suggestions?

Just tried boot DVD to Rescue and re-install boot-loader but this fails with:
'Incompatible Raid version information on /dev/md125 (RV=0.90 GAI=1.2)'

If you would have used the search function, you would have found viewtopic.php?f=8&t=7975
