Postby varun_saa » Jun 30th, '14, 15:45

Hello ,

I am using Mageia 4.

I am looking to upgrade my system.

Looking to use either Intel - DB 85 RL or DH 77 EB.

With 22' Samsung S22C350H LED monitor ( HDMI only )

Is Samsung S22C350H LED monitor supported ?

I could not find it in the list of Samsung monitors supported.

Thanks

All newer monitors are supported, if unsure simply select Plug&Play. Auto-detection usually works quite good.

Probably nobody who owns such a monitor provided the EDID data to us. If you have it, simply run
Code: Select all
/usr/sbin/monitor-edid
as root and attach the output to a bugreport and include your monitor type in the subject,
and also provide the /var/log/Xorg.0.log to that bugreport.

I don't need that EDID data, you should create a bugreport and attach it: https://wiki.mageia.org/en/How_to_report_a_bug_properly
