[SOLVED] Can not log in to selftrade with firefox

Postby patch » Apr 1st, '14, 21:09

Hi, I'm a new user to mageia 4 everything going well so far except I can not log into my selftrade account with firefox. I enter my account, date of birth and passcode, but the login button does not click and the mouse pointer stays as an arrow.
I have installed flash plugin from the welcome screen, and icedtea-web from Install & remove Software

This is not a problem with mint or wheezy, so I presume I am missing something or some setting.

any ideas welcome

What's a selftrade account?

Well, that wasn't my point - if you don't provide a link so others are able to look at that site, we probably can't help much further.
My hint would be to try another browser - konqueror, epiphany, chromium-browser or whatever you have installed.

Maybe it's just something simple like Javascript disabled, or some Adblocker-Plugin or that you don't accept cookies or something like that.

SOLVED - Thankyou both for your input

After a fresh install (having checked md5 checksum) I can now log in to selftrade

I am having to use the [ENTER] key rather than click the log in button, but that is a very minor irritation.
