[SOLVED] Can't change my resolution.

[SOLVED] Can't change my resolution.

Postby duder » Feb 23rd, '14, 18:44

I was trying to install Quake3 under Wine and started the game, it failed, but it reset my resolution. I tried under the control center and reset it to other resolutions but after the reboot it won't change. It looks like 400x300 as a guess. Thanks.

Well, in MCC you can set the resolution of the monitor and monitor type.
KDE system settings allows you to change it during runtime via xrandr.

I paniced, then my mind went blank. I was sure I was going to be reloading Mageia all over again.
So far I am very happy with Mageia, just the relearning cuvre from Ubuntu.
