[SOLVED] Administrator pasword no longer accepted upgrade 4

You should show the output as root, hence you got permission denied on the file /etc/polkit-1/rules.d/51-draksec.rules

And the "org.gnome.SessionManager" error message is because it's not running.

Have marked entry as 'solved'

will provide you the output as 'root' for file /etc/polkit-1/rules.d/51-draksec.rules

what about the "org.gnome.SessionManager" error message ...?
which I presume is not an issue as I'm now on KDE with KDM ?

Yep, shouldn't be an issue.
