In order to get youtube videos working I installed google-chrome-stable. I have recently received a notice of an update, but when I attempt to install it I get a warning that the update has a bad signature and asks if I want to install anyway. When I say "No" it keeps coming back. Here is the error:
The following package has a bad signature
google-chrome-stable-28.0.1500.95-213514.i386.rpm:Medium without key(OK(DSA/SHA1,
Wed 24 Jul 2013 08:14:57 PM EDT, Key ID a040830f7fac5991))
Do you want to continue installation?
So what is the proper action in this case, Yes or No? Is it normal for Google Chrome to send updates with a bad signature, or is this an invasion of some unsafe software?
If I do not want the update, how do I get it to go away?
I have subsequently installed the flash plugin so both Firefox and chromium-browser will play the videos. So it isn't a show-stopper if I have to ding the Chrome browser entirely.
Thanks for the support and the great distro.
