The only 'computer games' I play are Solitaire and Mahjongg. Specifically Gnome Mahjongg, so was pleased to find that it was available in the repository. And horrified to find that its 'developers' had produced a real dog with the updating from 2.3 -> 3.61. The main goal with Mahjongg is to complete a tile-set in the fastest time possible, but unbelieveably, the developers have deliberately introduced a 'time-delay', meaning that when 2 pieces are clicked, there is a pause before they are cleared! Up till then, my main beef with the developers was their silly level-classification - their 'Easy' level is by no means the easiest, whereas their hardest is by no means the hardest - and often wondered to myself if they ever actualy played the game itself. Now I know for sure!
Rant aside, I removed Gnome Mahjongg 3.61 and 'gnome-games-common 3.61', and installed an old Gnome Mahjongg 2.32 from Mageia 1 I found on the web - and it worked! All except for the menu graphics for buttons 'Start a new game', 'Undo a move' etc.
Anyone know what library they would be part of?
