Hi,

I have been using Ubuntu 13.04 for a while and I installed TLP which seems to automatically manage the power settings in my laptop.

I am wondering if there is something similar or if it is possible to install it in Mageia 3. Please let me know if you have any experience with TLP or any other suggestions.

Thank you in advance.

Has anyone ever answered this? I recently installed Mageia 5 on one of my laptops and would like to install TLP for power management and heat control. I can't find any information on how to accomplish this for Mageia.

Nope, if there's no reply there obviously hasn't been an answer.

Well, given the date of the original query, it had been my hope that perhaps something had changed in two years - careless supposition on my part. Cheers.
