How does one setup the on board modem to be used for dailup

Hi

is this during install or after?

did your installer allow the network configuration option " analogue telephone modem " ?

you should also be able to set up the modem from the Mageia Control Centre [ network and internet tab ]

you may have to set up non-free and tainted repositories as well, so read here https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Newcomers_start_here

If you find you need to install "slmodem", you can find an rpm for it in the fedora repos here. Installing that did the trick for me; the mageia network configuration tool will tell you what you need.
