Postby macxi » Jun 13th, '11, 03:47

Hi,

The software Qutecom doesn't run in Mageia 1.

When I try to run in the text-mode, appears in the following information

    [user1@localhost ~]$ qutecom
qutecom: error while loading shared libraries: libmd5.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
    [user1@localhost ~]$

The version that is installed on Mageia is:

    qutecom - Internet phone software
    Versão: 2.2-6.mga1
    Versão instalada atualmente: 2.2-6.mga1
    Grupo: Rede/Mensagens Instantâneas
    Arquitetura: i586
    Tamanho: 24436 KB
    Mídia: Nenhuma (instalados)
    URL: ( http://www.qutecom.com )

I reported a bug in bugzilla Mageia: bug 1777

I answered on the bug report #1777. If it works, you can change the bugs status to RESOLVED FIXED.

Akien,

When I installed "Qutecom" with Control Center Mageia, appeared a window placing the file w3c-libwww as an option and not dependence.

the window says: please choose: One of these programs is necessary:

I chose to leave it and installed "Qutecom" with "silc-toolkit".

Appeared error notice, the Qutecom not opened, because the libraries libmd5.so.0 is missing, which is on file w3c-libwww.

I installed the file w3c-libwww. Qutecom continued without work.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled again Qutecom. This time, I selected the file w3c-libwww:

Os seguintes 5 programas serão instalados:

    - libboost_serialization1.44.0-1.44.0-6.mga1.i586
    - libboost_signals1.44.0-1.44.0-6.mga1.i586
    - libboost_thread1.44.0-1.44.0-6.mga1.i586
    - qutecom-2.2-6.mga1.i586 <<----------------------------------@@@@<<
    - w3c-libwww-5.4.1-0.20061204.6.mga1.i586 <<----------------------------------@@@@<< opção.

25MB de espaço adicional em disco será usado.
8.2MB em pacotes rpm será baixado,
    Deseja Continuar?

Qutecom continued without work.

Obs: This software Qutecom has a bug 60902 already registered on Mandriva bugzilla since September 2010 and is still open.

[user1@localhost ~]$ qutecom
qutecom: error while loading shared libraries: libmd5.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
[user1@localhost ~]$

Do you still have the exact same issue, or has the situation evolved?

Akien,

Developed a little bit. Once appeared two windows and the option to register:

In the times following the two windows did not open completely:

I type the command "ctrl esc" and it says: "process stopped expecting something to happen".

I wait and nothing happens, I close the windows.
