I've been experimenting with the Mageia 3 Beta 4 on a new machine and it looks pretty good. Now I want to set up this machine with Mageia permanently and migrate all my Mandriva app data etc. over. Actually I want to do it as soon as possible.
So if I install the Mageia 3 RC and get everything set up nicely, can I then do some kind of upgrade when the final release comes out, without the need for getting another 4GB ISO and reinstalling everything again from scratch? If it's possible, is such an approach advisable, or is it always best to do a clean install when going from pre-release to final release?
Thanks for any tips. The only thing I can offer in return is to report RC bugs in the short time remaining, or at least confirm that the RC works on my hardware

BTW: I hope this is the right forum... though it's about pre-release installers, it's also about my lack of understanding of Linux/Mageia basics.
