[SOLVED] Installing Mageia as sole OS

Postby linux_69 » Dec 26th, '12, 01:25

Hello guys. The day has come and I'm ready to move to Linux once and for all. One doubt I have though: If I want to install Mageia as my sole operating system (i.e. I want Windows erased from my laptop), can I do that from the installer contained in the Mageia DVD or should I do something before (maybe with some other software)?

That's it friends, I appreciate your feedback. Thank you very much.

Yes it can be done from within the installer.
Either Use entire disk or Custom partitioning.

You may also want to take a look at installer documentation: http://doc.mageia.org/installer/2/en/content/index.html
