Pessoal,
I downloaded and installed Mageia 3 Beta 1 KDE LiveDVD 64 (Mageia-3-beta1-KDE4-LiveDVD-x86_64-DVD.iso) in
Virtual Box, inside the Mageia 2.
The installation of Mageia 3 beta 1 is still similar of installing of
Mageia 2 KDE LiveCD. The difference now is that, when you configure the Startup Menu, there is the option to install
Grub2 Menu:

Above: selecting the installation of Grub Legacy (blue) or the Grub2 (yellow).
The choice is quite easy and simple. I decided to test the installation and appearance of Grub2 Menu
Once installed, the Grub2 menu is what appear:

Clicking the first option "

Clicking on the second option "

Kernel installed. After the update has been added another
kernel, Linux 3.7.1Compare with

I disabled the "desktop effects" to do "Mageia 3 beta 1" lighten in VirtualBox (with standard memory installed on virtualbox Mageia 2).
I changed the classic menu to another menu. Then I tried doing a search of a word and the screen was locked for a few seconds, returning to normal, allowing me to go back to the classic menu
