no sound through HDMI

Hi,
I've Mageia 2 installed on my Acer 5730 laptop and as in topic I have no sound coming from HDMI output. In order to exclude any hardware issue I've checked HDMI connection to my TV set under Windows 7 and in this configuration I have not any problems, video and audio as well were played. What was done till now:

- in alsamixer I unmuted all digital channels;
- using aplay -D command I have checked all audio hardware devices without effect, no sound through HDMI in all cases but in one - hw=0,3 I hear sound through optical jack;

Try using pulseaudio volume control. (mixer) Should be on menu, sound and video.

the problem is related to the nvidia graphics driver. maybe you'll find a solution here: http://www.silicondust.com/forum/viewto ... e386c0e703. afaik is this problem resolved in the 304 nvidia driver.
