Hi Alzo9204,

Welcome to the Mageia Forum! :D

To install another language is necessary to install some packages (software).

1 - The first step is choose the package of locales.

    Example:
locales-de-2.14.1-3.mga2.i586.rpm - Base files for localization (German)
locales-el-2.14.1-3.mga2.i586.rpm - Base files for localization (Greek)
locales-en-2.14.1-3.mga2.i586.rpm - Base files for localization (English)
locales-es-2.14.1-3.mga2.i586.rpm - Base files for localization (Spanish)

2 - You can install by the graphics mode, in the Software Manager - MCC (see here and here) or at text mode (see here)

3 - After installing the language pack you choose, go on "Mageia Control Center", in tab "System" and in "Manage Location for Your System":

4 - Select the language that was installed, click in "next":

5 - choose your country and click in "next":

6 - and click "ok" and restart your computer:

7 - After restart the computer, you will need to install additional language packs, depending on the graphical environment you use and what software you're using.

Thanks for this answer. I tried it and it worked, but what i really need is to add more INPUT languages, like in Ubuntu and Windows, not interface language!

What do you mean by input languages, and which locale/languages list are you referring to? Also, which desktop environment are you using?

@macxi: This is not about locales, but about keyboard mapping (which can be chosen by keyboarddrake or via MCC).
