Problem recognising external harddrive

Hello,

after a fresh install of Mageia 1 my external harddrive doesn't get recognised correctly anymore:

I have marked the parts which seem weird to me. The harddrive gets recognised three times, reset three times
and capacity changes are detected. WTF? The first capacity would be right, it's a 60GB hdd. I have never seen this
before, maybe it's a kernel problem. Latest kernel i used was in 2.6.33.x in mandriva.
Works correctly in windows, only one NTFS partition, worked correctly in mandriva 2010.1.

Well, seems the drive itself is the culprit. Worked under windows still like a charm,
tried on another mandriva box, and shows the same symptoms. I'll delete the partition,
dd over the beginning of the drive and then i'll test again.
