Doesn't seem so:
http://svnweb.mageia.org/packages/updat ... t/SOURCES/
http://svnweb.mageia.org/packages/updat ... iew=markup

Could you please give a bit more context information about that "loopback" patch, what it is about and where it is available?

Hi Doc, sure,
loopthrough means u can leech with one Card over one LNB (multiplexer switch) all Transponders V or H same time (full stream down), this is in need for vdr ver below 1.7
from vdr 1.7 and above this is no more in need bec allready included.
So, all who still use vdr 1.6.x would love it ;)
if u want some more infos abt, the german vdr wiki has the main infos abt, here:
http://www.vdr-wiki.de/wiki/index.php/Loopthrough
http://www.vdr-wiki.de/wiki/index.php/Lnbsharing-patch

the patch is mainly for kernel 2.6.38 ment, infos here: (including the sc patch)
http://svanstrom.nu/2011/08/dvbloopback ... ux-2-6-38/
http://trweb.cwsurf.de/wordpress_301-de ... ss/?p=1458

I think now u know why i am playing with mga1 and the 2.6.38 Kernel... no?

i already noticed the mga1 vdr-streamdev-server is patched for xbmc use, good job !! (well, as expected kinda unstable with xbmc and nvidia, but thats well known on xbmc 10, VNSI or better XINE/Xvdr is the better choice)

forgotten to tell you that:
dkms-dvb-ttpci-sc_patched-0.9.0-1plf2008.1.x86_64
should /must be used as well when using SC and have it to work properly

Kinda strange, first you tell about loopback, then loopthrough. But whatever.
Also i'm actually interested what you're playing with, not at all ...

If you want to see those changes inside Mageia packages, propose a patch against the current SPEC from cauldron,
and file an enhancement request with the information from your last two posts: https://wiki.mageia.org/en/How_to_repor ... ge_request
And give some information about dkms-dvb-ttpci-sc_patched-0.9.0-1plf2008.1.x86_64 as this is not contained in Mageia repositories.

no isnt strange, same topic in this case
giving the bird a name, i am talking abt the mutex patch for the kernel AND neded patch for SC to understand loopthrough can be used, my my my, Doc, take some more off time ^^

indeed, the ttpci-sc-patch is still missing, no need to add this, this rpm works pretty fine on mga1 ;)

My hints are just suggestions, for you and those who read here, if u again ask me to post bug reports or requests my answer is still the same as ever, maybe one day i´ll think abt it
The folks surely would love this extensions, thats why i gave u the link to Kernel 3.5 as well, if u think this is not in need at mga1 bec mga2 is out, well... if it would work stable....i kicked mga2 allready off my drive, i was fedup bec after some boots, its dead.. and pls dont expect the normal fokls who would like to watch tv are willing to work out vdr 1.7 and all needed by their own, there are other Systems who work stable including vdrHD 1.7 no need to waste time here... more clear now?

and if ur not interested in what i´m talking/working on , why the heck u answer and bother here? again, more clear now?
Stop it Doc, i am giving u good hints and u get again stuck behind ur old couch? my my my....

Again!

As has been said to your several entities multiple times here and elsewhere by the doctor and others - the whole Mageia crowd (and Mandriva as well) agreed on a general system how to deal with bugs, requests for enhancements, improvements, and/or packages. It is called Bugzilla and the whole technical part of Mageia relies on that system. All the users are following this system (with help if needed and given) - except for you! Insisting on not using it is a waste of time on your side and not to the least helpful for anybody at Mageia. Do not pretend you only want to help while you are not helping anybody at all.

If you really want to help, give all these informations to the people who will really know what to do with them and who will be interested (or not) to solve the issue. Otherwise such discussions are meaningless and a waste of time for everybody.
