Another Humble Bundle

Some (including me) were pretty disappointed by the last bundles. But this new one is a good one.
And this because Amnesia The Dark Descent is in it. Not sure about the other games included but Amnesia is definitely worth the money.

What you need is a few bucks, a good video card (nice but demanding graphics) and a strong heart, because Amnesia is one of the scariest game ever made...really.
Don´t be brave and play alone at night, you´re not gonna make it. Get some friends to have some company...or a dog, cat whatever...don´t play it alone.
You don´t believe me? Search Youtube for reactions at playing Amnesia.

Bought the bundle a couple of days a go and have started playing Amnesia - The Dark Descent. I've just seen one of those creatures for the first time and it made me jump when I saw it walking by! Great game though - really enjoying it.

BTW to get the game running I had to install lib64txc-dxtn from the Tainted repo.

I got that game a few months ago and it's ridiculous for me to start playing it again. It's just way too creepy.

I stopped playing Doom 3 for that exact same reason. I'll see how far I get in Amnesia before I stop playing that too.

Ha, in Doom you have many ways to defend yourself. In fact in most of the games you will end up with sufficient means to protect yourself.
In Amnesia you get nothing, and all you can do is hide, so I suspect you will chicken out pretty soon :D

Sound is also playing a big part in Amnesia, you can wet your pants just because of the background noises or the soundtrack. I found myself few times muting the sound because it was just too damn scary.
