It might well be Mozilla but each time I click on the mailto tag because mailt is all that exists. Wich means that my chosen email prog isn't opened.
Now I've assembled a GA 320M-H AMD Chip and an ASUS Geforce GT 710

Which desktop environment are you using? And i assume by Mozilla you mean Firefox?

KDE and yes, I mean Firefox. I thought it might be just that site, but others do it to

Seems like a bug. For me it only opens thunderbird, but does nothing more. That's partly why i'm only copy&pasting mail adresses.
For what it's worth, what have you set in systemsettings -> standard applications -> email client?

EDIT: You can fix it inside thunderbird -> edit -> preferences -> advanced -> click "check now" button and check E-Mail, and click yes to set thunderbird as default mail application. Works here.

On my system it doesn't open any claws, kmail or thunderbird.

You still haven't even told what mail program you are using. Also you haven't told what is currently set in systemsettings -> standard applications -> email client?
