Yes, this thread has been tagged [SOLVED]
and will remain so. We've taken further discussion
to my bug reported at:

I don't see this as a show stopper nor a reason to
hold up release of Mageia 2. It's just one of those
wrinkles that may come into play later on or basically
never be much of a problem to anyone.

OS's like Mageia, Mandriva, Red Hat, Fedora are
all on going processes, and never perfect.
