I don't know where you got that link from, but the SVG you can download from http://www.mageia.org/en/about/media/ (specifically: this link) should work well.
If you aren't seeing it, it could be that you accidentally changed the fill properties of the paths.
Another thing that may have happened is that the objects got hidden in another layer. Open the document inspector (the icon with the '<>' sign on it) and see if you can find it.
Or just download the image again ;P

But to use the correct matter where I give you the option not to tamper with the original file gives me this image problem is not fully accessible, but decided the case by opening the File> Open, then Edit> Select All in all layers> Ctrl + C> New> Ctrl + V

And now the file is opened in Inkscape alike.
