Dolphin has died.

Postby pnunn » Feb 13th, '12, 02:11

Dolphin crashed (while I was working on a document opened via dolphin).

Now when I try and start it from the command line I'm getting

>dolphin
>dolphin(13569)/kdecore (K*TimeZone*): KSystemTimeZones: ktimezoned initialize() D-Bus call failed: "The name org.kde.kded was not provided by any .service files"

Anyone else seeing this?

Peter.

Huh? We're not under windows, if it would be a problem of an update in-between, then logging out and back in or restarting the X server should do it.
Cauldron is not for the faint of heart!
Caution: Hot, bubbling magic inside. May explode or cook your kittens!

with the daily updates, the kernel updated two times this week, i think reseting all the computer is not so bad...
No need to pretend cauldron to be stable enough to avoid the easiest way to resolve 90% of the issues.
