According to my knowledge CMDA is a streaming standard for UMTS (dialup) connections. Does this help?

Well, then it must've been a double url typo what you mean is CDMA (code division multiple access)

http://www.at-mix.de/cmda.htm explains CMDA (in German, sorry!).
But they also call it Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA), looks like both abbreviations are used.

It can't be a typo in the URL because the page (with cmda) really exists on that site, asking for the plugin.

As far as i can see, it's currently not available for Linux, only MacOS and Windows.
Maybe you want to check http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/alternates/
