Suggestion: Link to the forum on the first page of the site

Hello,

I saw that some links were changed on the topbar of the site mageia (http://mageia.org/).

Now, to access the link to the forum, first I need to access the link to the support (http://mageia.org/en/support/), then to access the links to the forums.

Could add a link to the forum (https://forums.mageia.org/) on the first page of the website, near to the wiki link?

Note: This is not for me, but for new visitors should access the site in the coming days, after the launch of Mageia 1. Some people do not find the link on the primary page may, erroneously, think that does not exist.

I agree. The link to the forum is vital for most people and should not be hidden in second level text but rather as a direct link in the portal page header.
(I know, Mandriva follows the same policy, there the forum link is even in 3rd level).

... on the first page of the website, near to the wiki link?

That link has also been moved somewhere in second level.

I had started a new thread about this, then saw that the topic exists already.

Can we PLEASE have a direct link to the forum from the homepage?

Link is back.

Pls see the discussion on the webteam mailing list to understand the reasons why it was moved:

Thank you.
I immediately understood why the link was moved, and it made a certain amount of sense to me at the time. I just felt that reasons to have the link at the first level prevailed.
There's a difference between understanding someone and agreeing with them.
