Hallo,

ich habe letzte Woche meinen neuen HP Elitebook X360 G6 in Betrieb genommen - einfach durch SSD Tausch aus dem älteren G2.
Leider funktioniert hier der Ruhezustand nicht - trotz mehrere Versuche, die BIOS Einstellungen anzupassen.

Jetzt habe ich mal versucht, das Log zu verstehen, scheitere aber.

System beginnt scheinbar runter zu fahren, kurz schwarz, wacht fast sofort wieder auf, dauert eine Weile, dann stehe ich wieder am Anmeldebildschirm.

Probier mal ob das einen Unterschied macht, ob du aus dem Startmenü Tiefschlaf oder Standby aufrufst, statt systemctl hibernate
Ist bei mir wechselweise so, entweder via systemctl suspend-then-hibernate oder aus dem Startmenü genau so wie du bei dir beschreibst - Kiste geht kurz aus, dann direkt wieder an und wieder zum Login-Manager.
Ich bin nicht böse, sondern nur ehrlich. Und wer lesen kann, ist klar im Vorteil.

Moin,

mein Eindruck ist, dass der Ruhezustand aus dem Startmenü heraus inzwischen funktioniert (ich hatte vor ein paar Tagen noch einmal im BIOS "gespielt").
In den Start => Werkzeuge => Systemeinstellungen => Energieverwaltung => Reiter Im Akkubetrieb ist bei Deckel schließen derzeit Herunterfahren eingestellt. Bei Neustart bleibt der Bildschirm dann dunkel (lange über probieren herausgetestet) => nur ein "Doppleklick" mit Strg+Alt+Backspace bringt den Anmeldebildschirm zurück.

Test mit Energieverwaltung => Reiter Im Akkubetrieb => Deckel schließen => Ruhezustand folgt noch einmal.

Hi,
das neue Notebook hat 32GB RAM, die Swap Partititon ist "nur" 4 GB groß.
Nach einigem weiteren Lesen gehen ich mal davon aus, dass hibernate im Swap abgelegt wird und es daher so nicht (mehr) funktionieren kann.
Sieht so aus als müsste ich
a) die Swap-Partition vergrößern (was auch meiner Sich bei 32GB RAM wenig Sinn macht, da vermutlich meist ungenutzt außer für hibernate) oder
b) hibernate to swap file(!) konfigurieren.
=> b) klingt mir sinnvoll, aber ich habe keine Idee davon. Hat das schon mal jemand erfolgreich gemacht?

noch NIE vorher, aber jetzt auch die entsprechende Meldung - als hätte der Rechner gemerkt, dass ich mich schlau gemacht habe... :roll:

Nicht hibernate to swapfile, du müsstest einfach noch zusätzlich ein swapfile anlegen.
