[gelöst] Gwenview öffnet keine .tif- Dateien

Hallo,
seit einigen Tagen öffnet mir Gwenview keine .tif-Dateien. Er "zuckt" nur kurz auf, mehr nicht. Bei meinen üblichen Formaten .jpg und .CR2 habe ich keine Probleme.
Nach einer Neuinstallation hat sich daran nichts geändert.

Dann starte doch mal Gwenview aus der Konsole und öffne erst danach dein Bild. Welche Fehlermeldungen erscheinen dann? Ist das bei allen *.tif Dateien so? Mal ein anderes *.tif (welches du irgendwo im Netz findest und herunterlädtst) versucht zu öffnen? Wie sehen deinen Standarddateieinstellungen bezüglich *.tif aus?

Da mich das Thema interessiert, habe ich gleich mal versucht ein .tif-Bild zu laden.
Beim Öffnen des Bildes aus Gwenview (gestartet über Konsole) heraus, stürzt das Programm ab:

Ebenso, wenn man Gwenview normal startet. Klicke ich auf ein Bild im Dateimanager, um es mit Gwenview zu öffnen, tritt das auf, was arthuro oben beschrieben hat, kurz "zuckt" der Rahmen auf, als ob sich das Programm öffnen wollte.

Kann ich hier nicht nachvollziehen. Weder aus der Konsole noch beim normalen Programmstart gibt es Probleme beim öffnen von *.tif/*.tiff -Dateien.

Die Gtk.css warnung ist irrelevant und kann einfach wie auch schon mehrmals im Forum und in der Errata erwähnt abgestellt werden.
Die raw type image Meldung bezüglich der proprietären Formate gibt es bei mir auch, haben aber keine Auswirkungen.

Vielleicht könntet ihr mal hier ein (unverfängliches, neutrales) Bild hochladen, bei dem bei euch immer ein Absturz auftritt so dass man das vielleicht mal nachvollziehen und eure Bilddateien möglicherwesie als Ursache des Problems auschließen kann.

Ist bei euch das Paket "qtimageformats5" und "lib64tiff5" installiert? Sollte eigentlich der Fall sein, wenn ihr Plasma verwendet...

Ich probierte weitere Programme aus, die Bilder öffnen, so ergab sich bei mir:

Pix und Ephoto funktionieren nicht.
Es funktionieren bei mir: XViewer, GPicViewer, Atril-Dokumentenbetrachter, EOM, Feh, Gimp, ShowPhoto und KolourPaint, ebenso Inkscape. Sicher gibt es noch weitere Programme.

Mein Foto wurde mit Gimp als .tif-Datei gespeichert. Ich nutze MATE als Desktop.

hier käme ein entsprechendes Foto von mir, bei geöffnetem Gvenview stürzt bei mir das Programm ab.

ABER: Die Dateierweiterung tif ist nicht erlaubt.

Wie wäre es dann das Bild in eine Archivdatei wie zum Beispiel zip zu packen oder einen Filehoster zu verwenden?

Den Fehlermeldungen nach zu urteilen, verschluckt sich GwenView an der PixMap des Vorschaubildes.

Scheint komplexer zu sein dieses Problem:

- zwei Mageia 8 Maschinen 64bit Plasma (zum Erscheinungsdatum installiert und geupdatet) öffnen das Rosen.tif und alle anderen Formate ohne Probleme
- extra versuchsweise eine dritte Maschine geplättet und Mageia 8 64bit Mate und Plasma installiert: Rosen.tif lässt Gwenview crashen. Eigene tif Datei wird hingegen problemlos geöffnet. Außerdem läst eine eigene jpg Datei Gwenview crashen.

Das Programm hab ich mal versucht beim Öffnen von Rosen.tif zu debuggen:

Ganz am Ende, wenn der Crash passiert, müsstest du z.B. "bt full" für einen backtrace eingeben, sonst sieht man nicht warum es abstürzt. Auch ohne debuginfo-Pakete sollte man sehen in welcher Bibliothek oder Programm die Ursache liegt, allerdings nicht an welcher Adresse.

Ich würde sagen ist ein exiv2-Problem. Müsste man debuginfo-Pakete installieren und das nochmal machen und als Bug melden.
Könnte aber auch ein gewollter Security-Fix sein, siehe https://forum.ubuntuusers.de/topic/gwen ... st-9270287 - wenn z.B. ein fehlerhaftes ICC-Profil eingebettet wurde.
Ich bin nicht böse, sondern nur ehrlich. Und wer lesen kann, ist klar im Vorteil.

Wir haben uns beim Schreiben überschnitten :) . Den "bt full" hab ich im vorherigen Beitrag ergänzt.


Ganz am Rande (und wahrscheinlich für die Fehlersuche bei Mageia nicht hilfreich):
OpenSuse Tumbleweed mit libexiv2 0.27.4-1.1-x86_64 und gwenview5 21.08.1-1.1-x86_64 haben keine Probleme beim Öffnen der Dateien.

Ich habe was probiert:
Mit der Konsole Gwenview geöffnet. Bild ausgesucht und mit "öffnen mit" bei den Aktionen geöffnet, Das hat funktioniert.

Abgebrochen (Speicherabzug geschrieben)

Ich habe auch das Rosen Bild von ikseran versucht zu öffnen. Gleiches Ergebnis. Ich hatte erst den Verdacht, dass mein RAW-Programm Darktable etwas damit zu tun habe.

Die exiv2-Pakete die sich aktuell gemäß Bug in core/updates_testing befinden lösen das Problem.
