[SOLVED] GIMP fullscreen causes Kwin crash

Hi folks

I have an odd problem on my new Mageia installation. If I view a GIMP image in full-screen (F11) it causes Kwin to crash. The crash handler dialog box appears apologising for the crash, and when I OK it, the fullscreen image appears, and Kwin evidently re-starts itself.

The computer is a Dell D620 laptop with standard on-board Intel GMA950 graphics. I have compositing enabled, and am using qtcurve theme.

Should I file this as a bug (and if so, to Mageia, KDE or GIMP?) or can anyone suggest some settings I should tinker with first?

Solved - I had been exploring KDE's "special window settings", and GIMP images were set to automatically "shade" when not focussed. Turned this off and it was all OK.
