Wine issues in Cauldron

Postby johnspack » Feb 10th, '26, 07:23

Long time Arch user, have used Mandrake in the past. I heavily rely on wine under linux. I manually set up dkvk and proton ect. I need at least wine 11 to do things. So I've set up a Cauldron
install in a VM and having fun with it, but wine is not quite set up. Am I missing something for winecfg to start?

Hello, what do you mean exactly by "wine is not quite set up" ?
Also, which wine packages did you actually install, and do you need 32bit or 64bit wine ?
Code: Select all
rpm -qa | grep wine | sort

Cauldron is not for the faint of heart!
Caution: Hot, bubbling magic inside. May explode or cook your kittens!
