Can not change options in Mousepad

Postby cefer » Sep 26th, '23, 15:24

Hello.
I have installed mageia on 2 PCs and the same thing happened to me on both
Trying to enable the "Show line numbers" option nothing happens (It has no effect)
Investigating the reason, I went to ~/.config and saw that the Mousepad folder has root as the owner. It solved it, but has it happened to anyone else?

Hi there, you are referring to the XFCE text editor mousepad, under Mageia 9? Also, what medium did you use to install Mageia? Live DVD, Classic DVD, ... ?

Well the live versions are a bit different in how the home directory of the first created user is handled, because that is the one from the live user - at least that's usually how it worked in the past, didn't check recently.

Can you reproduce that behaviour with a freshly created user in the installed system ?
