Problem went away Can't update or get repositories

I thought it was being on the edge of the 4G area, I'm using a T-link router but although I'm using an outside aerial and I'm getting 30MB/s my M8 won't update it did work on this hardware I'm lost. If it's an interaction and I have to migrate I've got an ASUS miniPC I bought it without a hd so although it's new it didn't have a SSD so no OS.

What is the output of
Code: Select all
# urpmi --auto-update
?

can you add a specific mirror, as opposed to just clicking on the "Add" button?

(use https://mirrors.mageia.org/status as a guide)

As I've Migrated to the ASUS and it still won't update, I think with even more certainly, it's my 4G connection I think my download speed is really slow so it times out.

I have to put up with dial up speeds (on copper ADSL <50kbps), so I am not sure that is the issue.

end of a loooong chain of links to the nearest mirror for me.

I'm at the end of the GPOs as it was then copper wires when I had Utility warehouse then broadband, BtVirgin, I only got 2 or 3 megs my Vodafone mobile broadband device was faster than it went to 4G now I haven't got a wired phone now. For £17 I get 100 Mb Data on Vodafone with unlimited calls and texts, 80Mb of Data on O2 for £16 per month, and two companies so when a company's tower is off-line I'm not. Something is wrong it must be my SMB connections
