How to install Sublime text 3?

Postby joachin » Jan 10th, '21, 05:00

Hello guys, I would like to know if there is a package to install Sublime Text 3 on Mageia? I don't want to install it via flatpak?

Thank you.

Hi, no there isn't. You could try to install the fedora packages from the repos they offer via urpmi --allow-nodeps or use the tarball they offer.

Why don't you want to install via flatpak, any particular reason ?

Hello, thank you for replying. The reason is because I don't like to mix the packages and also because I only trust the packages that are in the repos.

Well, sublime text is not in our repos, same as many other 3rd party packages.
