Postby pabbuu28 » Mar 25th, '20, 13:49

Hello all
Could you give advise installing mariadb from source on mageia 64 bit. I already have installed mariadb version 10.1, due to some problems with it i need new version of mariadb. My first question is how to properly delete current installed mariadb from system? Second is it better install this one mariadb-10.4.12-linux-systemd-x86_64.tar.gz (for systems with systemd) or this one mariadb-10.4.12.tar.gz ?

Regards,
Jasur

It would be a better idea if you would provide some context information and some details what particular problems you are referring to.

So you're trying to restore your telegram backup, correct? And did you manually create that db_att.sql ?

For that you don't need to install mariadb from source.
Read up on your issue, e.g. https://stackoverflow.com/questions/181 ... -767-bytes or maybe https://wildlyinaccurate.com/mysql-spec ... 767-bytes/

No, this our team project from Database Application and Design course, it is for attendance management system through qr code, we created ER-diagram on paper, and my friend created that db_att.sql on phpmyadmin.
